We have so many patrons who have been with us for many years, and when they go missing, we notice. And we worry.

This is Roger. He and his sisters came in for breakfast every Thursday without fail. Until they didn't anymore.

Michelle found this picture she had taken with Roger at a Hilltown Hags performance in Middleburgh. Sheyla posted the photo around local FB groups looking for him, and we were able to find out he hasn't been feeling well but is being well taken care of, and we were able to send him a message.

We don't always have time to get to know the details of our "regulars" lives. With Roger we knew he lived somewhere near Middleburgh, he was a Veteran, and he could fix any kind of heavy equipment out there. We rarely know last names. But we know what they love to eat! (2 pancakes with over easy eggs on top and coffee. His sisters always have bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and one regular, one decaf coffee. We have the coffee at the table before they even sit down! )

And we know when we haven't seen you in a while!

In this crazy world where people seem less and less connected to each other, these little consistent moments in our lives come to mean a lot to us. There is so much we can't count on anymore, but we can count on seeing our
"regulars " on a certain day at a certain time and when we don't, we notice!

If you, or someone you love, has been a "regular" at Cobleskill Diner and for some reason cannot come in anymore, please feel free to send us a message or call the diner to let us know. You may have to describe what they look like, or even better, what they usually eat, but we promise, we know them and we know they've been missing from our lives!
And if you or your loved one were a patron (consistently or not!)and we havent seen you in awhile, say hello in the comments below! The ladies would love to say hi to you!

We are wishing ALL of our patrons good health and happiness and we can't wait to see you again soon!

What a fun week this turned out to be. We are so glad we gave Smokey Roosters Pit Stop a shot, and we cannot thank everyone enough for stopping by, trying the food, collecting tickets, and having some fun with us.

Fair Week is here, and we have something new planned at the Cobleskill Diner!

During Fair Week only, Rooster On The Run will be setting up Smokey Rooster’s Pit Stop on our ice cream patio, Tuesday through Sunday from 4–9 PM.

After a long day at the Fair, stop in for a hot dinner fresh off the smoker. We’ll have pulled-to-order meats, fresh sides, ice-cold lemonade and infused water. Eat with us on the patio or take everything home and skip the cooking and dishes.

We’re also adding a little Fair Week fun with our free Carnie Games. We’ll post a new game right here on Facebook every day throughout the week.

Tomorrow, we’ll release the full Pit Stop menu, explain how the Carnie Games work and post our first game.

Everything leads up to our Sunday Night Finale on the Cobleskill Diner Ice Cream Patio. Entries close at 8:45 PM, and the grand-prize drawing will happen live at 9 PM. Make sure you bring your matching ticket stub.
