In Other Words — Delicious Natural Flavor and Real Ice Cream! OUR STORY
Alan Kurschner grew up in Wisconsin. His father, David, along with his brothers Bob, Ron, and Fred, grew up on a rustic Wisconsin dairy farm in Barron County in the late 30s through the 50s between Prairie Farm and Barron. From before he could remember, Alan loved hard ice cream, including malts. However, over the last couple of decades, he noticed ice cream becoming highly processed, adding unpronounceable artificial ingredients, dyes, and other processed additives. Being health conscious yet wanting to enjoy an occasional helping of ice cream, Alan found it difficult to find ice cream that consistently avoided artificial ingredients. As a connoisseur of this traditional American frozen dessert, Kurschner was determined to change this artificial trend. Kurschner's Super Premium Ice Cream is his answer to returning to traditional, natural, high-quality ice cream. As a tribute to Barron County's dairy heritage, he is naming two of his flavors "Prairie Farm Sweet Cream" and "Blue Hills Moon." Alan Kurschner is all about excellence in ice cream making with the aim of not only proudly providing Barron County an ice cream they can call their own but also making “Wisconsin Ice Cream at Its Best.”
