Anyone have any historical photos/cool documents/maps etc from Chestertown/loon lake area that they’d like a chance to have featured on my community wall in the coffee shop?! I am going to stop in to the historical society in the town hall this week and reach out to a few other places that may have some archives- just putting it out there if any families have old photos they’d like to add! Feel free to send them via messenger or send any contact suggestions

I think it’ll tie in my community/family aspect nicely and will also be a good conversation piece for locals to check out🙂

The demolition and renovations are fully underway! We can’t wait to post before and after photos once we get farther along. Keeping everyone in the loop as much as we can as promised- we’ve had lots of people stopping by to ask about what’s going on! We have a ways to go but we are getting there.

**One thing that all of you could do in the meantime to help spread the word is to leave this page a review if you’ve been a Farmstand customer in the past! This really helps to build our reputation and will help build trust as we near opening day. We would appreciate it soooo much more than you know🤎**

The kitchen has been fully scrubbed and repainted, the front areas are being painted and reimagined, the bar had to be ripped out due to an old water leak that was not taken care of and overall grossness (we are rebuilding it fresh!), the bathrooms are being re vamped and so on… More updates to come soon- we can’t wait to meet you all soon! ☕️🛍️🧋🥧

The post about the “chicken diner” many of you have been waiting for 🥁…

Big upgrades are in the works🤎☕️
(I will transition this page slowly to avoid confusion as we navigate through this great change!)

Word sure does spread fast in our little town but I’m glad it’s that way- My family has closed on the building so it’s finally safe to announce that a coffee shop and an artisanal locally produced gift store will be coming to Chestertown soon!

Everyone has their own opinions and ideas about what should become of the building which is great! We could never satisfy the wants of each and every person but our hope is to provide a family friendly gathering place for our community and beyond to come and enjoy a hand crafted drink, snack on some house made baked goods and more, and meander around the shop to find locally made items for all occasions.

Items at the coffee shop will be available for to-go if you have places to be, and there will also be both indoor and outdoor seating if you’d like to hang out for a while. (Eatery style, no wait staff and self seating)

I plan on offering items that I have previously sold in my farmstand on White Schoolhouse Road, locally grown produce, espresso drinks, house made craft syrups and flavorings, teas, drip coffee, assorted juices and seltzers etc., a daily selection of baked goods, as well as ready to eat breakfast sandwiches, salads and such, and more to be determined. (All variable at this time as I work on a menu! Open to any and all comments)

The store side will offer a wide variety of items such as hand crafted pottery, soaps, knitted items, decor, unique gifts and more!

And YES the big chicken 🐓 is there to stay- he just needs a makeover and will for sure be getting one😂

We hope to be open in June! (As long as all goes well with the town and county boards etc.)

The farmstand is still open! Ive had a few messages from people wondering- I had said earlier in the year that I’d be closing around Labor Day but I decided to leave it a little longer 🙂

Available are: eggs, English muffin bread, pumpkin bread, small assortment of summer squash and cucumbers (only 25c each), handcrafted soaps, local honey, tote bags, cold drinks, free records and books
