The Goldendoodle has officially reclaimed his spot on Hayne Street. 😎

And judging by the weather outside, he picked a pretty great weekend to come back.

Our Chicago Dog returned yesterday after A LOT of requests, and now we’ve got a whole long weekend ahead of us to enjoy him.

So here’s your Friday reminder:

Get outside.

Walk around Downtown Monroe.

Pop into some local shops.

Eat something good.

After a month of questionable amounts of cheese, messy fingers and absolutely ZERO regrets…

Today is the LAST DAY of Queso Crazy Month. 😭😂

One final day for:

🥣 And that extra side of Queso Dip because apparently putting queso ON your food wasn’t enough for us.

🧀🚨 Okay Monroe… we’ve reached that point in the relationship where we need to have a difficult conversation.

Queso Crazy Month is almost OVER. 😭

August somehow disappeared on us, which means you’ve only got a few more days to get your cheesy fix before these specials ride off into the sunset.

And judging by how y’all have been eating them…

Some of you might need a support group. 😂

If you still haven’t tried them, here’s what you’ve been missing:

Good Sunday, Monroe ❤️

Yesterday was one of those days where we looked up, realized hours had disappeared, and thought…

“Wait… weren’t we supposed to post something today?” 😂

Y’all kept us BUSY, and we’ll take that problem any day of the week.

So this morning, before we fire everything back up, we just wanted to say thank you.

There’s something pretty special about opening the doors to our little shop on Hayne Street and watching families, regulars, first-timers, friends, and visitors come through them all day long.

That’s the part of this business we never want to take for granted.

Today we’re rested… well, mostly. 😂

The grill is getting hot.

The Dogs are ready.

The gelato is cold.

And we’ve got another beautiful Sunday in Monroe ahead of us. ☀️🍔🌭

The whole gang headed over to Main Street to visit our longtime friends and former next-door neighbors at their BRAND NEW home—Gingham Girl Cake Rolls & Creations! 🎂🎉

Of course, everybody had to pile together for a photo in front of the new shop.

We’ve loved watching Sue and the Gingham Girl team grow, and seeing them open this next chapter on Main Street makes us incredibly happy. We’re proud to continue carrying their Cake Roll slices and cookies right here at P&D, too!

The P&D Downtown Tour rolls on… and our crew made their way over to Main Street to check out another awesome local spot—Sappy Sweet Boutique!

This woman-owned clothing and apparel boutique is packed with personality, fun designs, and plenty of things that’ll make you say, “Okay… I definitely need that.” 😂

Their shop is absolutely adorable, and they were so welcoming to our little crew that the Yorkie and the Queso Dog had to stop for a picture outside before continuing the adventure. ❤️

This time, the crew stopped by one of Monroe’s newest gems… Bloomers! 🌸🪴

If you haven’t visited yet, you’re in for a treat. They’ve created such a fun space filled with beautiful plants, unique succulents, gorgeous flowers, and interactive experiences that let you create and customize your own indoor or outdoor garden.

While the rest of the gang wandered inside checking out everything Bloomers has to offer…
