Did you know Pottstown is one of the oldest historically Black neighborhoods in Mecklenburg County? I sure didn’t.

Historic black town right here. Down the block from my house.

Tonight I get the opportunity to be the featured artist at The Sound, and I want my family, friends, Something GOD Loves family, and everybody who has supported this journey to come spend the evening with me.

This won’t just be me getting on stage and performing a few songs.

I want to tell some stories. Share some testimony. Talk about life. Talk about GOD. And use hip-hop and music to connect all of it together. 🙏🏾🎶

Come laugh with me. Cry with me. Smile with me. Worship with me. Come experience all of the things.

Last weekend we had a wonderful opportunity to bring HBCU culture to a Charlotte Crown game. Now, I myself went to Culinary School but I know the importance of the HBCU culture and experience. Shout out to Charlotte Crown for trusting me to lead. Yall know I had to reach out to the HBCU big dogs in the city. My fam Sharika Comfort, M.A | Consultant and my bro Travis P. Jackson founder of HBCU Pride Nation ® then made a call to my guy Curtis Walls | The Renaissance Man and of course The Heal Charlotte Charlotte superstar Brandi Shine-Barron and we all went to work. Couldn’t and Wouldn’t do it without them.

Shout out to my Sis Nitara's Love Notes who sang “Lift every Voice” and “The National Anthem”. You did amazing Sis. Shout out to my brother CEO of prosperityalliance for coming and receiving the game ball. Golden Bulls Women’s Basketball Team women’s basketball team and Urban League of Central Carolinas Young Professionals and every fraternity and sorority that came out. My Sis Courtnie Coble Coble was in the building. Councilwoman LaWana Mayfield is always in the building supporting.

Thank you to my biggest supporter at Charlotte Crown and through this season has become family “Coach of the Year” Trisha Stafford-Odom love ya fam! You didn’t an amazing job with the team.

Listen my people! If you didn’t attend a game this year don’t miss out on the experience next year. Women’s professional basketball is in the city. We in the championship game next week in Jacksonville, Florida. I’ll have details about a watch party to day. Get down with the Crown baby!

Everybody has a story! You don’t just start rapping for the LORD it’s a calling on your life. If it wasn’t for all the mentorship that was happening at Heal Charlotte I would have never thought of rapping again and if the LORD didn’t give me permission to rap again then I wouldn’t be.

Now it’s all@about Greg Jackson Something GOD Loves Cuisine Something GOD Loves Concertference because through the we can communicate the to the next generation in a way that makes it attractive to them. Always putting but showing how cool loving JESUS is through the wonderful art from of Hip Hop.
