we were here cleaning this morning and realized it’s officially the 7th anniversary of Avalon today 🐸! it has been a challenging summer to run a business in catskill, and we didn’t have it in us to organize an anniversary party this year…. in fact, there’s no show tonight at all, though we are open and you should definitely stop by to say hi to Jalisa and eat some of Annie’s delicious food. but we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has kept this improbable place alive - to Annie, all of our employees, our regulars, and the incredible performers who have conjured countless moments of genuine magic in here. not to mention plenty of people who help us out behind the scenes by being generous with their time and resources in ways large and small. we get a lot of love from you all, and it’s what keeps us going during the rough moments. we appreciate you ❤️
