It’s the first show tonight at the stage dedicated to Paul’s (our owner’s) late brother Robbie Stokes, right in downtown next to The Cellar! Come on by before or after the sunset concert for one of our famous Bloody Marys or jell-o shots…we will have the FIFA USA vs. Turkey game tonight on multiple screens at 9pm!
Join us for the inaugural Sunset Concert on the Robbie Stokes Memorial Stage at the New Era Events Plaza! 🥳🎶🎸
🌙The evening will celebrate both the opening of the new downtown stage (phase 1) at the New Era Events Plaza and the legacy of Robbie Stokes, the beloved musician, sound engineer, mentor, and champion of Southern Illinois music whose impact continues to shape the region's creative community.
🗣️Representatives from the City of Carbondale & the Stokes family will offer remarks honoring Robbie Stokes before the performances begin.
🎶Music for the evening will include local opener, Jeremy Todd, followed by the headliner for this weeks’ Sunset Concert, The Way Down Wanderers!
‼️Note that this evening of programming begins at 6:30 PM, earlier than standard Sunset Concerts time to accommodate the additional programming- linger awhile longer after the concert to catch a surprise special performance!
