Apple pie or cheesecake? I’m firmly in the camp of not having to choose. 🍎🍂

This one still needs another round of testing before I call it finished, but I’m already thinking it could be something special for fall.

Rich, cozy, a little over-the-top, and definitely made for the kind of day when you have people gathered around the table and nowhere else you need to be.

Michigan has me very ready for fall baking… even if Texas has other plans for a while. 😂

We’ll see if this one makes the cut for the fall menu. 👀

Visited my favorite bakery in Northern Michigan this morning for breakfast Farm & Bakery ❤️Their croissants are unbeatable 😍I’ve also been enjoying Lake Michigan views, cutting my own flowers at a small flower farm and my new birthday water bottle from my sister in law😍 I hope everyone is having a great summer ❤️

Come along with me on vacation! Completely unrelated to baking - been taking time away from the business and Instagram posting over the summer and am currently enjoying the view in northern Michigan while escaping the Texas heat ✨🌌 of course I left my camera behind not knowing we would be able to see such an incredible night sky and had to try to capture it on my iPhone instead. Also had to go back to sleeping bear dunes, one of the most incredible views anywhere! We were able to have a picnic and enjoy the view and 73 degree weather today also! So inspired by all the cute bakeries and small town charm up here. Of course I had to visit Cherry Republic and grab my favorite chocolate covered cherries and a slice of pie too! Hopefully I can bring you guys some new content this fall, let me know if there’s something in particular you’d like to see from my account ❤️ with love - Madison

I’ve been told countless times by customers that these are the best cinnamon rolls they’ve ever had. I think one of the big reasons for that comes down to the technique. I let my rolls get to maximum proof before baking and only bake them until they are fully baked but not until brown on top, so I don’t dry them out. The result is a texture like the softest yeast rolls, and the corners and edges are just as soft as the middles ❤️ I aim for about 195 degrees on the instant read thermometer and I’ve never had an underbaked roll or gooey dough in the middle 🔥

Come on out to see me tomorrow at 2005 Rocky Ridge Loop, Canyon Lake, Texas 78133 for our monthly farmers market! The loaves are turning out so lovely today ❤️ I will also have assorted sourdough bagels, my salted caramel, vanilla bean cream cheese frosting brown butter cinnamon rolls and more!! I have baked a lot this week, see you there!!

A little behind the scenes on a side quest I was on! I’ve tried so many times and these were exactly what I was hoping for 😍 I may just do a donut shop pop up day at my farm stand soon ❤️
