New Cocktail Alert!
One of our featured classic cocktails is our take on a New Orleans-style Pimm’s Cup! Pimm’s No. 1, Fresh Lemon, & Lemon-Lime Soda!
Great warm weather patio pounder that drinks light and balanced. Scratches that “fruity but not too sweet” itch perfectly!
This one was inspired by our trip to the Napoleon House with the team last month! Goes great with any of our seafood, Grilled Redfish, Sweet Tea Chicken, or Pork Chop! But who are we to make rules?!
Let’s pass a good time, y’all!

We lost a good one yesterday. Frank Beard: June 11, 1949 – August 17, 2026 - Age 77
A true East Texas native. The quiet shuffling force behind ZZ Top for 56 years.
Born south of us in Frankston, TX, Frank Beard was ironically the only beardless member of the band. A quintessential element of ZZTops humor. His backbeat carried the grit, humor, and swagger of Texas farther around the world than most of us will ever travel.
Growing up overseas, my father steeped me in the music and lore of ZZTop like scripture — as though it was as foundational to Texas identity and culture as the Alamo itself. A love and pride that I’ve instilled in my own sons.
That love found its way behind the bar. Under pressure during a guest shift at The Hideout at Dalva in San Francisco, the first cocktail I ever created professionally became a Negroni riff of Vida Mezcal, Gran Classico, and Cocchi Torino. I named it “Tres Hombres” as a cheeky toast to greatest three-piece in Texas history.
Frank left this world surrounded by family at his ranch. A true son of Texas to the end.
Rest easy Frank. Your groove is still in us.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL PINOT NOIR DAY!
We keep our wine list pretty tight so that most options can be enjoyed by the glass at a price that doesn’t drain the pocket book. Our wine program is intentional. We’re not chasing the biggest names. We’re looking for low-intervention wines from sustainable farms and small family producers — the kind of bottles that feel honest.
Alpataco is a perfect example of our philosophy!
This Alpataco comes from the cool, windy steppe of Patagonia in southern Argentina, one of the most southern wine regions in the world. The grapes are hand-picked from low-yielding vineyards and made with a light touch. You get pure, bright red fruit — raspberry, strawberry, a little cherry — with soft tannins and this fresh, elegant finish. It’s the kind of Pinot that actually tastes good instead of trying to impress you.
It’s delicious on its own, but it really sings with our food. Pair it with the Smoked Pork Chop, or the Grilled Redfish. It’s also great with the cracklins or just hanging at the bar.
So if you’re looking for a reason to come sit with us tonight… this is it. Come try the Alpataco from Patagonia, raise a glass to Pinot Noir Day, and let us take care of you.
We’ll see you soon.
