Today, with a heart full of gratitude and more than a few emotions, Cathy and I are sharing that we have sold the building that has been home to our restaurant, tasting room, and headquarters for the past six years. 16 Upper Main Street, Callicoon NY will be the new location of the Callicoon Pantry!!!
From the moment I first stepped foot in Callicoon in 2003, I fell in love with this remarkable little town. In 2007, Cathy and I took a leap of faith and purchased this beautiful building, and after an extensive renovation, we brought it back to full glory in 2018. It became so much more than a business—it became a gathering place, a destination, and a space where friendships were formed and community flourished. We’ve made lasting friendships here, that we will cherish forever!
Through Catskills Provisions, we hosted unforgettable events, celebrated local talent, and did our small part to help bring people together and showcase everything that makes Callicoon so special. Opening the tasting room in May of 2020, in the midst of COVID, was one of the greatest challenges of my life, but it also became one of my proudest accomplishments. In uncertain times, our doors provided a safe place to gather, connect, and find joy.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, celebrated with us, and walked through those doors over the years. Thank you to all who were part of the team, and thank you to Callicoon, for embracing our vision and allowing us to be part of your story.
It takes courage to begin something, but it also takes courage to let it go. I’m deeply grateful that we had the strength and vision to create this dream and make it come true, and now it is time to let another very special dynamic duo make their dreams come true in this generous space. Here’s to new beginnings, continued growth, and the bright future of this town that captured our hearts all those years ago. Onward! Pollinator Spirits lives on in Long Eddy, NY where I continue to distill🫶🏼
