And a big shout out to everyone who came and visited our booth yesterday on our triumphant return to the ! Fun fact: that’s where we first started selling our gluten free chocolate chip cookies back in 2020, and we are so happy to be on the river again!

We are so ready for today; that comfy, relaxed, Sunday vibe, you know? Especially on a rainy weekend at the beginning of summer. Sigh, what bliss!

Memorial Day weekend makes us think of hot dogs, hamburgers, and GLUTEN FREE PASTA SALAD! With fresh, delicious, Sullivan county grown veggies of course. Summer is gonna be awesome!

One of the reasons we sell the gluten free pastas from is because they hold up really well when refrigerated, something practically unheard of in the GF noodle sphere. It’s takes some technique of course, but all you need is olive oil and some juicy tomatoes 😋

Our vegan Mejool Date cake has surprise apricot chunks this week! As a Gluten Free bakery, we talk to a lot of customers who are looking for a lower glycemic sweet treat; something that won’t spike your blood sugar. And County Road Bakery is listening to your requests! This gorgeous cake slice is made with a maple glaze and ZERO refined sugar.

So many of us start this journey for health related reasons. Whether managing diabetes, endometriosis, or celiac disease, our customers have been through ENOUGH and our job is to make it easier! Gluten free food has a naturally lower glycemic index then it’s wheat containing cousins, mostly due to the difference in dry ingredients!

One of the reasons the Gluten Free lifestyle is so popular is because it’s an effective way to reduce inflammation. Modern wheat is not biodynamic, and our gut health depends on biodiversity! As a body positive, people-first, health is wealth kind of business, we KNOW that there are endless challenges to our feelings of safety around food. We will always advocate for balance, and really appreciate the feedback you all send our way, keep it coming!
