Fatty ‘Cue is an effort, by a few of the members of the Fatty Crew, to bring the West Village little Southeast Asian fermented funkiness and a whole helluva a lot of smoke. Local and humanely grown/raised/fished products are subjected to our unique flavorings, scrubbed and rubbed, perhaps dropped in a salty-sweet dip pool, and then lovingly treated to low temperature smoke “baths.” All for your di

ning pleasure. Our goal is to balance quivering fatty morsels of deliciousness with bright citrus notes, fiery chili heat, rich fermented and briny washes and complex, unrefined, natural sweetness. Our two Ole Hickory smokers are the main cooking elements in the restaurant, even providing the bar with many of their condiments. And, we all smell like sweet, local oak wood and booze…which is a nice smell.

To all of our Fatty friends & family. We are sad to report that Fatty Cue West Village will be closing after service this upcoming Sunday. The concept will live on in retail product offerings and as menu items in future Fatty Crab restaurants (most all new Crabs will have a 'Cue component on the menu). We hope to see all of our friends & fans this weekend so that we can raise a glass to the people who made 'Cue so much fun. Fatty Crab Hong Kong celebrates its first year anniversary this month and we look forward to more openings in the near-term in places such as London, Dubai, Brazil and Singapore.
