Brooklyn Roots is all about people, history, and some good food. If you've been here before, you know it is a little bit of a scene, it's not your typical restaurant. I know one thing for sure my father would have been here all the time, with the Sinatra playing and the old school brooklyn attitude we have. This is Brooklyn Roots.

What an extra special Friday today is - not only did Chef prepare some amazing Prime Rib for tonight, it also just so happens to be the big guys BIRTHDAY! Make sure you stop by tonight & congratulate Chef Tommy on another turn around the sun. There's not many people around that would go the lengths he would for his restaurant & it shows every single day in the dishes he puts out, how hard the staff works & rallies around him and how the neighborhood adores him

Be sure to stop by tonight at some point to wish Chef a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY - we're sure the party may go on a little later than expected

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today we wanted to keep it short, sweet & to the point to highlight our specials tonight - Stuffed Artichokes, The BIGGEST Lasagna, Halibut any style. Make sure to save some room for dessert as Chef is whipping up an Apple Crisp that'll knock ya socks off

Happy Tuesday! We wanted to make a public service announcement for Bay Ridge, all 5 boroughs and the greater tri-state area -- we will have The Biggest Lasagna on special all week long. Make sure to stop in, make a reservation, call in for a takeout // just as long as you get yourself one of our slices of heaven

We're settling into our new address faster than we ever thought, thank you everyone whose come out these last 2 weeks oh so memorable

Happy Saturday! We have some amazing weather out there today so let's see if we can do a little test run for tomorrow & get that avenue packed! Come stop in tonight and check out some of our new cocktails!

We're all prepped out and ready for tomorrows 3rd Ave Festival, it'll be prime spritz season & we have enough Aperol to run a small Italian village

Happy Wednesday! Tonight on special, Chef went out of his way and came in a little earlier this morning to kneed out some Sweet Potato Gnocchi - he's paired it in a Sage & Butter sauce and topped with a bit of Parmesan Cheese. A surprisingly light dish (by our standards) that can absolutely be shared. Maybe even order it as an app for the table. Go wild, who are we to tell you how to have a good time

We've settled into our new digs - come stop by for a drink & say hi. Take a lap around the floor. Enjoy the room as much as we do

HAPPY FRIDAY! We are happy to announce that we are back on the grid & have a new phone number - we've missed hearing your voices calling up for takeouts & reservations so we made sure that we didn't go another day without hearing that phone ring.

You can now reach us at 718-333-5757. Give us a call, make a reservation, chit chat about some specials, ask whose bartending. The lines are open

As you may have heard, Sunday's 3rd Ave Festival has been postponed a week due to incoming weather || doesn't mean the party stops. We'll be opening up, like every Sunday, at 2PM ready to serve up some Sunday Sauce for the first time in our new spot.
