It may not come as a surprise, but lately things have been tough here at Sean’s Kitchen.
After a lot of difficult conversations and careful consideration, Sean has decided that it’s best for us to close our doors, effective June 29th at 9:00 PM.
If you're a small business owner—especially in the restaurant industry—you understand the challenges. The past year has brought many highs and lows, and while we have been incredibly blessed by the support of our community, the realities of running a brick-and-mortar restaurant have become increasingly difficult.
Over the past year, we’ve met so many amazing customers, and many of you have become dear friends.
We are forever grateful for every meal shared, every conversation had, and every bit of support you've shown us along the way.
At the same time, our children are at a stage in life where they need us to be as present as possible. Balancing family life with the demands of a restaurant has become increasingly challenging, and we feel it's time to make a change that allows us to focus on what matters most.
But don't worry—this isn't goodbye.
We are actively searching for a food trailer so we can continue serving the smash burgers, Hoosier Loins, Rebel Reubens, Nectar of the Gods Pulled Pork, and all the other favorites you've come to love—just with a little more flexibility for our family.
In the meantime, we will be operating out of a commissary kitchen and will continue accepting catering orders and factory meal requests.
We are currently finishing up a much-needed vacation and will reopen on June 3rd from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. We will then continue regular business hours until we close our doors on June 29th.
With this transition, our building will also be available for lease. Bob and Mavery have been wonderful to work with, and we are so thankful for the opportunity they gave us. This experience has been one we'll always cherish.
Over the next few weeks, we’d love for you to stop in, grab a bite to eat, share a memory, and help us celebrate this chapter of Sean’s Kitchen.
We can't wait to continue serving the kind of food we're proud to put on our own family's table—just from a mobile kitchen instead.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and being part of our story.
With so much love,
Sean, Brianna, and the Sean’s Kitchen Family ❤️
