Happy Monday, y’all! Hope you had an amazing weekend the weather was absolutely perfect!

Today’s featured dish is one that, for some reason, flies under the radar… and it definitely shouldn’t! Our Stuffed Pepper, found on our regular dinner menu under appetizers, is a house-made roasted red pepper stuffed with ricotta, Italian sweet sausage and broccoli rabe, baked in a fresh plum tomato sauce and drizzled with basil olive oil. Plated, delivered and ready for YOU! It’s that simple…..all you have to do is order it, we’ll do the rest. And yes, I’m throwing in my usual line… you can thank me later!

WHOOP WHOOP, IT’S SATURDAY!
We did it…..another week in the books, and a HOT one at that!

Today’s post is a little different. No food feature, just some helpful FYIs about dining with us at
Rino’s Place…..

- First ……
SUMMER VACATION
We will be CLOSED starting Saturday, August 15th and reopen Monday, August 24th with regular business hours.

Now for the good stuff…

- We’re a small, family-owned Italian restaurant. 12 tables, 42 seats inside, and a whole lotta food coming out of one little kitchen! So here are a few things to know……

- Reservations are for parties of 6 or more.

- CASH ONLY….ATM inside.

- Our business hours
Monday thru Thursday
3 to 8:45
Friday Noon to 8:45
Saturday 3 to 8:45
Sunday CLOSED
…..we need a day too….
And just so you know 8:45 means your name must be on the wait list by that time!!

- Outdoor dining gives us additional tables when Mother Nature cooperates and definitely helps shorten the wait.

- there is no splitting of orders which basically means if there are two of you at a table….2 food items must be ordered. I don’t believe in charging a splitting fee and basically if we allowed splitting we’d be out of business! Sit down, enjoy, take your time. Come hungry, leave happy!

- We don’t give out wait times because, quite frankly, we’re never right! We’d rather be honest than give you a time we can’t guarantee.

- No waiting inside. We’re small, and nobody wants someone standing over them while they’re trying to enjoy their pasta!

- Our General Manager is Cheryl Breault. If you need assistance, please call during regular business hours.

- And for those who don’t know us, I’m Anna DiCenso, and my husband Chef Tony and I are the owners.

- Our staff ….
from the front of the house to the back of the house IS OUR FAMILY. Please treat them with the same respect you expect in return. That one is important to us.

- We may be small, we may do things a little differently, and we definitely can’t please everyone…but we work hard, love what we do, and our customers will ALWAYS come first (well most of the time)

YAYYYY IT’S FRIDAY, MY PEEPS!! We made it! Let’s do this!!!

Today’s featured dish: CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA!

When people ask me what is my favorite dish on the menu, it’s always this…..

Your choice of chicken or veal, sautéed in a white wine lemon sauce with mushrooms, topped with Prosciutto di Parma and mozzarella cheese, then baked!!

Yum, yum, SO GOOD!

Served with a side of linguine or ziti….or you can upgrade to a side of our homemade pasta… which, in my opinion, is ALWAYS the right way to go. But like I always say ……totally up to you! Either way, this dish is yum yum good!!

It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood! The muggies are here, but don’t worry, it’s nice and COLD inside!

Happy Thursday my peeps! Let’s do this! It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood!!

Today we’re talking
Fritto Misto……..
A classic trio!! If you know, you know!!

Crispy fried calamari, shrimp AND scallops, drizzled with a lemon garlic aglio. And that about sums it up, straight to deliciousness!!

And here’s the best part… most of the appetizers on our daily specials can be ordered half or full size! Which means you can grab a half order of Fritto Misto AND try something else too…. Hey why not!!

Another absolute genius idea from Chef Tony… because one appetizer is never enough around here!

It’s Hump Day, my peeps! Half way thru the week!! Let’s do it…..

Wednesday has always been known as spaghetti & meatball day, so we’re rolling with it!

Whether it’s spaghetti, rigatoni, cavatelli, linguine… we got you! One meatball or two….we got you!! Pasta made to order and meatballs made daily! Veal, beef and pork of course!!
Sometimes you just can’t beat the classics….

Happy Tuesday, my peeps! The sun is BACK and hanging around for a bit, so outdoor dining will be in full effect…..umbrellas up, please!

Today is a GNOCCHI kind of day… or as I most recently called them in an interview, “KNOCKIS,” and boy did I get reamed for that one! Of course I KNOW how to pronounce it, but throw in a heavy Boston accent and this raspy voice of mine and, well… it definitely didn’t come out right!

But let’s talk about what REALLY matters….how delicious they are!

Soft, pillowy potato dumplings sautéed in our drinkable red sauce, topped with fresh mozzarella and baked until hot, bubbly and absolutely delicious.

I personally like mine a little on the harder side, but to each their own!

One bite and… if you know, you know.

Good Monday morning, my peeps! Let’s do this. Let’s get this week started off right!

Today’s featured dish is an 18 oz. Prime Ribeye finished with a wild mushroom, Chianti rosemary sauce. Served with Chef Tony’s famous potato croquettes and asparagus, and cooked to your desired temp……
…….the sauce alone is on another level!

This past weekend was one for the books! A HUGE shoutout to all of our valued customers who stopped by and dined with us. And to my staff …..THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU….. Your hard work never goes unnoticed. We would be nothing without you guys!

It’s Fri-yayyy, my peeps! Let the weekend begin!

Whether you’re in the mood for a bold red, a crisp white, or a little bubbly, we’ve got the perfect pairing waiting for you. Thursday….nice to see you again! One more day for the weekend!! Let’s do this….

Another rainy day in the neighborhood… but this dish should have you craving your next meal.

Today’s feature is our Rack of Lamb… or as our kids like to call them, lollipops!!!!

Pan-seared, oven-roasted, finished with a pistachio crust and a cherry balsamic glaze. Served with fresh asparagus and Chef Tony’s famous potato croquettes.

What can I say? This dish speaks for itself… it’s just that yummy.

It’s Wednesday, my peeps… and it looks like the rain is moving in! But don’t let a few raindrops stop you from enjoying a great meal. Come dine with us… doors open at 3 o’clock! Dine in, take out available!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported Taste of Eastie 2026 last night. What an incredible event! The lines were long, the food was amazing, and it was great seeing our community come together to celebrate so many outstanding local restaurants.

We’re honored to have received the Best Restaurant Décor award! Sometimes winning isn’t about bringing home the top food award… it’s about showing up, representing Eastie with pride, and being recognized for the passion, creativity, and hard work you put into everything you do. That means the world to all of us!

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared a smile, and supported Rino’s Place. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
