We’re excited to announce that we’ve collaborated with Aquality Farms and have a new and improved mushroom blend—The Earth Brew! 🍄☕️
I: The Coffee: Colombian Excelso—sourced from family-owned farms within the “Coffee Triangle” of Colombia.
• The Bean: “Excelso” is a grading term for high-quality Colombian beans. They are slightly smaller than Supremo beans, but are often preferred for their balanced, consistent profile and bright acidity.
• Flavor Profile: Naturally sweet with smooth notes of Caramel, Milk Chocolate, and Citrus (Orange).
II: The Medicinal Mushrooms: We use a “Big Four” blend for total body and mind support.
• Lion’s Mane: The “Smart Mushroom”—supports memory, focus, and nerve health.
• Reishi: The “Mushroom of Immortality”—helps with stress, sleep, and immune support.
• Cordyceps: The “Energy Mushroom”—increases oxygen uptake for better physical performance.
• Turkey Tail: The “Gut Specialist”—packed with antioxidants and prebiotics for a healthy gut and reduced inflammation.
III: The Infusion Process (The “Secret Sauce”)—this is what sets Earth Brew apart from brands that just mix in mushroom powder!
• The Tincture: The mushrooms undergo an alcohol extraction (tincturing). This is crucial because certain medicinal compounds (like triterpenes) are not water-soluble; the alcohol “unlocks” these benefits so the body can actually absorb them.
• Post-Roast Application: We apply the liquid tincture directly to the beans after they have been roasted.
• The “Soak & Dry”: The beans are hand-mixed while the tincture is absorbed into the porous surface of the coffee. We then allow them to air-dry completely before packaging.
