Let’s talk about pollen… 🌼
Everyone knows that yellow dust is coming—but honestly, we haven’t really gotten hit hard with it yet here in Ocean County.
That’s actually pretty normal.
In New Jersey, pollen (especially from trees) usually starts ramping up late March into early April, but the real peak typically hits sometime in April once temperatures stay consistently warm
So if you’re thinking:
“Why isn’t my house covered yet?”
…it’s probably because we’re right on the edge of it.
Once we get a few warm, dry, breezy days in a row, it tends to show up fast—and stick to everything.
What’s crazy is:
• One day your house looks fine
• A few days later everything has that yellow film
Curious—has anyone started noticing it on their cars or siding yet, or are you still in the clear?
