It is hard to find the words to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to our family.

Am was not only our beloved Mom and Grandmother—she was the heart of our family and one of the quiet pillars behind Baltimore Lao Eats. Her love, strength, sacrifices, and the traditions she passed down helped shape who we are today.

So much of what we do carries a piece of her. In the food we prepare, the Lao traditions we cherish, the way we welcome others, and the importance we place on family, her presence will always remain.

Mom, we will miss your voice, your smile, your guidance, and the comfort of simply knowing you were there. There will always be an empty place in our hearts that no one else can fill.

Thank you for everything you gave us—for your love, your strength, and a lifetime of memories we will carry with us always.

We love you, Mom. We miss you more than words can say. Though you are no longer here beside us, you will forever be a part of us and a part of Baltimore Lao Eats.

This Fourth of July is unlike any other. As our nation commemorates the 250th Anniversary of American Independence—America’s historic Semi-Quincentennial—Baltimore Lao Eats will be closed so our family can join in honoring this remarkable milestone.

As immigrants and small business owners, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the rich flavors and traditions of Laos with the wonderful people of Baltimore, Maryland. America has given us the chance to build our dream, serve our community, and celebrate the diversity that makes this country so special.
