Now we’re putting all that talk to good use.⁣

Brad stopped by to talk with FOX Baltimore ’s Megan and Audrey from Maryland’s Best about the Maryland-grown grain, malting, and all the work that goes into making the stuff that eventually ends up in your b**r.⁣

And TONIGHT, you can taste the results.⁣

We’re celebrating the end of Craft Malt Month at Max’s with Bear Branch Malt and b**rs from 15+ local breweries, all made with Bear Branch malt. We’ll have grain samples, giveaways, and a whole lot of Maryland b**r.⁣

Basically: Brad did the explaining. We’ll do the pouring. We need YOU to come do the drinking. ⁣

40 years goes by pretty damn quick.⁣

This was Ron Furman in 1986, sitting on the stoop of a just-opened Max’s, and thankfully, 40 years later, he’s still here - although a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 more bionic now. ⁣
⁣
We’ll get around to celebrating 40 - maybe in year 41 or 42. Whatever. We’ve been a little too busy buying b**r, adding tap lines and well frankly, staying alive. ⁣
⁣
The big 40th Reunion has been postponed, but come hang with Ron tonight. He’ll be here, reminiscing about the good ol’ days, telling stories, and pointing out all the ways this place has evolved since this old black-and-white photo. ⁣

Well… looks like Oktoberfest has officially taken over Max’s. 🇩🇪🍻⁣

The flags are up.⁣
The steins are ready.⁣
The lederhosen are questionable.⁣
And the b**r? Oh, the b**r is VERY ready.⁣
⁣
Starting tomorrow, we’re pouring 40+ German and German-style b**rs all weekend long.⁣
⁣
So come grab a stein, order a brat, and get your Oktoberfest on. ⁣

September 18 to 20 - or til the kegs kick and the steins are drained. ⁣
