the bloody duchess 👻🩸 legend has it that, in life, the duchess herself craved the perfect, savory brunch cocktail with an island twist. now, she returns from beyond the grave every sunday morning just to take one ghostly sip of housemade bloody mary mix & Haku vodka dressed with crispy spam, olives, & pickled daikon.

An evening where food, art, and Filipino identity meet at The Duchess ❤️

On Thursday, October 22, we’re welcoming Filipina-American artist and 2026 Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize winner Thea Canlas for a special celebration of Filipino Heritage Month.

Join us first for a cocktail reception from 4:30-6 PM, with passed bites, a welcome drink, and a presentation of Thea’s work.

Then, for just 14 guests, the evening continues around our Community Table with an intimate, multi-course Filipino dinner from Chef Kiko Fejarang, paired with curated beverages and conversation with Thea.

A night about food, art, memory, migration, and what it means to carry culture deep within yourself.

We’re raising our glasses to an important cause, Baltimore.

On Tuesday, October 27, we’re welcoming the Women’s Law Center of Maryland to The Duchess for a special happy hour in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month Women's Law Center of Maryland

Expect incredible food, beautiful music, + company with a whole lot of heart. Your ticket includes event access, bites from our kitchen, two drink tickets for b**r and w**e, and a live performance by local musician Katie Callahan 🎶

And because we can’t resist a little something extra, we’ll also have raffle tickets available for the chance to win dinner and drinks for four at The Duchess!

Most importantly, every ticket helps support the Women’s Law Center of Maryland and its work advocating for justice and supporting survivors of intimate partner violence.

Come for the cocktails. Stay for the music. Leave knowing your night out helped support something that matters.
