This establishment has been operational as Pete’s Grille for over 40 years. An easy walk from John’s Hopkins University and Union Memorial Hospital, steps away from the 32nd Street Farmer’s Market, and located on a main thoroughfare for those driving downtown, our clientele is an eclectic group. We have many regulars, addressed by name as they walk in the door—providing a Cheers type of atmosphere

. Counter seating only, and only 28 of those, means you might have a conversation with your neighbor and experience the true ambiance of Pete’s. Our food is just fabulous—after all, we haven’t survived and prospered for 40 years on ambiance alone! All food is prepared in front of you, generously portioned, and made with the freshest and finest ingredients. We are proud to have been recognized as Baltimore’s Best Breakfast many times over the years, most recently in 2010 by the Baltimore City Paper and again in 2011 by Baltimore Magazine. We became world famous when Olympian Michael Phelps talked about the gargantuan breakfasts he enjoyed at Pete’s while training. We also have great lunch offerings, specials and delicious 10 oz. burgers, hand-made daily, cooked on the charcoal grill.
