We've been in the lab (aka the back of the shop) dialing in something new. Introducing the Kifaru Spiced Nitro. Vanilla bean, ginger, cardamom, clove, and cinnamon stick steeped right into our single-origin Kenyan cold brew, then pushed through nitro for that thick, cascading pour.

We're taking the traditional way chai has always been made back home in Kenya and bringing that same taste to you through coffee. The smell alone will stop you! Warm spice, dark chocolate, and cold brew all at once. We've been testing and retesting to get this right, and it's headed to the Austin Coffee Festival this October. Come find us and try it first. ☕️🇰🇪

Fun Fact: Caffeine isn't just for you ☕ It's actually the coffee plant's own defense system, a natural pesticide it produces to fend off insects. To bugs, it acts as a neurotoxin, stunting growth or killing them outright.

You can put that same defense to work at home. Brew a strong pot of Kahoa coffee (or dissolve instant coffee in water), let it cool, and spray it around doorways, window sills, and other entry points. Ants, mosquitoes, and other bugs tend to steer clear of it. Just a small win from something you probably already have in your kitchen. You're welcome 🫡🇰🇪☕️
