⚡ WE HAVE POWER! ⚡

After 4+ months of planning, installing, and energizing our brand new utility pole, Counter Culture officially has electricity on site. Huge milestone.

That means we can finally get the flooring and woodwork installed with the lights ON — and yes, those lights include these fixtures that are giving us all the vintage diner feels 😍

About 3 more weeks of build-out ahead, and we’re aiming to open our doors late August / early September. Getting so close.

Thank you all for hanging in there with us through this ride. It’s been a long road to get the power turned on, but every step forward means we’re one step closer to feeding you again 🌱

You're invited to a reception we will host for the new Counter Culture which is planning to open in August. Enjoy a light lunch prepared by the restaurant on July 11th at noon at our new venue, the Foundation Room, located at 13900 F.M. 1826, Austin, TX 78737 in Southwest Austin. Sue Davis, the owner and founder of Counter Culture, will discuss her journey to become a vegan chef/restaurateur, as well as her plans for the gourmet eatery.

We’ve officially picked our second paint color and we couldn’t have planned it better if we tried 🥕✨

Say hello to *Carrot* (on the left)— a warm, vibrant orange that’s about to wrap our space in the good stuff. Honestly, what’s more us than naming our walls after a vegetable?

The build-out is in full swing and things are really coming together. We can’t wait to welcome you in.
