Today, is the first day of Fall. Officially. I promise you it really is- it’s easy to forget since there isn’t a sweater yet in sight. Leaves are falling though, I can verify since we’ve been busting out the leaf blower every morning and evening at the restaurant. It’s a ceaseless battle against the leaves trying to come in the front door. It’s also a hopeful feeling cause we are so excited to wear all our cute jackets!

It’s September already and pumpkin spice is already being served, but Finch and Fifth is still celebrating summer with you. Yes we are tired of the heat, yes we have to get up at 7am to walk the dogs, yes the fans are going and the electric bill is way too high - but on the bright side we’re still serving refreshing drinks that seem to taste better in the sun-

Just a small gesture for our Dolly celebration of life Brunch service this Sunday. We’re gonna let her music take us to church. We hope that those of you attending will find comfort in knowing you’re coming to a place where she was truly loved.

We always say at Finch that we try to be like Dolly. No politics, no hate, just comfort and doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.

It details it on the pamphlet - but in honor of her, the Parton estate requests that in lieu of flowers please donate to your local literacy programs or the Imagination Library.

*****Edit: This is a tribute at its finest. We will be decorating, there will be Dolly themed cocktails and food and a memorial section as well as a keepsake for all guests.

We would like to state that one of the owners is from Tennessee and spent their entire childhood summers in Pigeon Forge, and grew up with Dolly as a staple in the household. So this experience is very sentimental and we hope that you will join us.
