This month’s venue highlight is Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, a 27,000 square foot mansion located in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood, framed by mature trees and beautiful gardens.

Inside the mansion—old-world craftsmanship at its best—walnut floors and paneling, 12-foot ceilings, and a grand staircase, framed by a solid limestone archway that spills out into a great hall. Outside: terraces, a fountain, sprawling lawns and formal gardens.

This month’s venue highlight is The Wimbish House.

Designed in the eclectic French Renaissance Revival, or Chateau-esque, style, this lovely Victorian-era home is distinguished by steep gables, intricate detailing, and massive stone masonry ornamentation.

Located at 1150 Peachtree Street and now a beloved Midtown icon, The Wimbish House is lovingly restored and is designated a national, state and city landmark. The Wimbish House is owned by The Atlanta Woman's Club, and funds from its operation are used to support the Club’s charitable activities.
