The thing about New Orleans cooking is it doesn’t require skill, it requires the spirit of New Orleans. And you can only get it by living there, not visiting. The best chefs in the world still can’t make good New Orleans food. Argue with ya maw. I know yall saw Gordon Ramsey gumbo 🤣🤣 we love Gordon though but that wasn’t it homie!

The funny thing about gumbo is how people argue over it all the time. truth is whatever you put in your gumbo isn’t wrong. It’s all about how you ate it growing up. Whenever someone doesn’t like gumbo it’s simply because they didn’t eat that kind of gumbo growing up. But one thing you can never mistake is the color. The color of the roux should always look like what you see in this video. Go argue with your maw.

This ain’t ya regular catfish. We don’t do that regular cornmeal bs we got a buttermilk battered catfish with actual Cajun seasoning infused into the batter and a Cajun rub on the catfish. If you can’t see the herbs and spices in your catfish go some where else! 🔥🔥🔥
