This is about Mr. Stowe for those who have been asking

We miss you Mr.Stowe
It's been a long week and a half so far, well really a long 2 months....
On Mothers day, my dad, Ray Stowe fell flat on his back. After several ER and Dr visits, insisting he be checked and rechecked, ANMED finally appeased us with allowing him to have a CT scan. It was discovered that he has been living with an unstable fracture in his back at T9/T10 for over 7 weeks, affecting several of his bodily functions. FINALLY we had an answer that helped make it all make sense. I am so sick and tired of all the medical professionals telling him it was just severe bruising that will take time to heal, and to take more fiber for all of the other issues. They should have the education and common sense to connect the dots! We insisted he be transfer to Greenville to have adequate care that ANMED doesn't have the gumption or ability to provide.
Dad has been fighting pneumonia that set in because he could not breathe deep for so long. Everything that they have been trying has not been effective. He will have lung surgery this afternoon. Please keep him in your prayers. Hopefully, if all goes as planned, they can let him be upright by Thursday. We have a back brace on standby for when he does get past the lung issues. Then we will decide if back surgery is the next solution or continue the slow recovery with a brace only.
If anyone is aware of my family situation, I would be appreciative if MG is made aware and updated.
Thank you for all the prayers, calls and visits. It means so much to us. With time and encouragement, I expect him to be back on his feet with his breakfast buddies at Cracker Jack's sooner than later ❤️
