A little green and gold moment for O & M from back in June.

Cake details: Top tier was lemon biscoff with fluffy lemon cake, biscoff crust, vanilla IMBC, and lemon cream filling. Bottom tier was chocolate orange ginger (dark chocolate cake with ginger and orange zest, vanilla buttercream, citrus shortbread crumble, and chocolate orange ganache).

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming with a reminder that, yes, I can make your birthday (or anniversary or baby shower or just because) cake too! It's true that most of my business, and much of what I share on social media, is wedding-related, but I love being part of all kinds of celebrations.

This is your sign to let your cake be a part of telling your story.

I & G came to me with a cake idea already sketched out, including a plan to make their own clay figures representing themselves and their pets. It was an honor to be trusted with the cake and buttercream portion of bringing their vision to life, including bookshelves, moss, florals, and mushrooms!

Cake details: grapefruit campari cake with white chocolate yuzu ganache and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. Not pictured: cupcakes in Earl Gray vanilla and brown butter bourbon peach for guests.

The vintage piping trend is still going strong, and I love to see how the little details come together to give each cake its own personality.

G & C chose two tiers of vanilla toffee cake filled with salted caramel and brown butter cream cheese frosting. Gorgeous blooms from .crozet and a classic cake topper completed the look.

Vintage details with pops of color and fresh florals?! I absolutely loved everything about this cake, and making it for such a sweet couple celebrating at a venue I've always wanted to work at with an insanely stellar team was just the icing on the cake! 😉

H & J opted for tiers of crème brûlée and banana pudding cake, and it was so hard to narrow down which photos to include!
