Beth is an exceptional artist who uses her talents to create beautiful works using Acrylic and Watercolor. When you visit be sure to take a walk through and check out her art! Stunning isn't a strong enough word to describe these pieces, you must see them in person, especially the detailed build up added to the moon painting 😍

Artist Bio: Beth Mehring is a local artist from Nelson County whose work celebrates the beauty of the natural world. A self-taught artist specializing in both acrylic and watercolor, Beth draws inspiration from the vibrant colors, landscapes, and native flora and fauna that surround her.

Her love of color and nature is reflected throughout her artwork, where she seeks to capture the character and spirit of the region she calls home. Through expressive brushwork and rich palettes, Beth creates pieces that honor the unique beauty of the local environment and invites viewers to enjoy nature that surrounds us.

Good morning, Bonfire friends and family, for clarification I uploaded our "limited" menu. The only things we are not serving are the "Entree's" that I have removed from this menu. We also do not have creamed corn or the Farmer's salad this week; However, we have two spectacular specials that are sure to delight. The menu will be back to normal 6/17. Thank you for your continued support!

Where to start with this sweet, amazing artist, Raven is honestly one of the sweetest ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting, and her art is just so absolutely beautiful! Her fun Psychedelic art was meant to be at Bonfire in Amherst!
Artist Bio: "Raven Riehl's artistic process is an act of intuitive creation. Using acrylic paints, she builds layers in her abstracts to produce intricate designs. Transparent Layers blend beautifully with the color underneath, generating vibrant glowing effects. Geometric shapes flow and tangle into each other, creating unplanned images of animals and faces. Occasionally, she will use neon paints that make her work reactive under ultraviolet light. Any way you view the canvas, you're sure to be surprised by what appears."
I could personally spend an hour or more just looking at her work, and I still find fun designs! Grab a drink and head into the event room to enjoy these fun paintings!

Ailsa has such a keen eye for detail with seeing natural beauty in ordinary objects; but the way the light can hit each one just perfectly whether the sun is coming or going Ailsa captures these moments.
Artist Bio: "Born in England, to an American father and English mother, Ailsa has always been passionate about color, texture, space, placement and how these are incorporated into art and design, either in 2D or 3D form. Ailsa has a Bachelor degree in Communication Arts and Design from VCU, and graduated with a Masters degree in Sustainable Urban Design and Planning from University of the West of England in 2013. Ailsa has a background working as a Multimedia Design and Communications Specialist for Financial Institutions, Fortune 500 companies, Advertising Agencies, Colleges and Universities, Cideries and Wineries, bespoke Architectural firms and small start-up companies. Her love for all things design, coupled with a unique eye for artistic representation, inspires her daily to capture, on camera, the emotional and spiritual beauty and expanse of Nelson County landscapes."
Thursday through Saturday, you can find Ailsa at Fortunes Cove Blooms & Apothecary selling flowers, herbs and apothecary items on Front Street in Lovingston, Virginia.
Hopefully, Bonfire will have the pleasure of using some of Ailsa's beautiful floral arrangements as well!
