Kitchen is OPEN
Hello, MCCo Fam!
It has been a season of adjusting, rebuilding, and figuring things out as we go, but we have some genuinely good news to share:
Our kitchen is back to operating at full capacity, for NOW. We do have some potential new hires and we will take all the good vibes you can share for the hiring process!
We are still accepting applications, interviewing and thoughtfully growing our team. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people who care about cleanliness, consistency, hospitality, and community. If that sounds like you, or someone you know, we would love to connect.

Can’t Make It In? Show Us Some Dash Love
Some days are simply too busy to stop and we understand.
Merchant is available on DoorDash, so you can have your coffee, breakfast, or lunch delivered directly to your home, workplace, or wherever the day has taken you. Or you can place your order on our website for pick up while you are on your way! Good on you for thinking ahead.
Order Online for Pick Up
Ordering through DoorDash is another way to support our small business, even when you can’t physically make it through our doors. So, if you’re having one of those days, show us a little Dash love. We’ll send something delicious your way.

Back to School, Back to a Rhythm
15% off offer, read on..
The beginning of a new school year brings a fresh rhythm for students, teachers, school staff, and families (speaking from great experience lol) and we would love to make the transition a little softer.
Through September 30, students, teachers, and school staff can enjoy:
15% off any drink during The Evening Ritual
Wednesday–Saturday | 3:00–8:00 PM
Just show us your school ID.
Whether you’re heading home after a long day in the classroom, meeting a friend, or trying to finish an assignment somewhere that isn’t your bedroom, we’ve got a seat for you.
The Evening Ritual Is Your New Study Zone
When we created The Evening Ritual, we imagined more than simply keeping the coffee shop open later.
We imagined a softer place to land at the end of the day, a place to study, create, meet, read, work, or sit quietly with something good to drink.
During Evening Ritual hours, you’ll find:
Plenty of table space
Free Wi-Fi
Our regular coffee and espresso menu
Botanical and alcohol-free drinks
A warm atmosphere without the pressure to rush
Bring your laptop, your books, your study group or just yourself.
Wednesday–Saturday | 3:00–8:00 PM
Gather well. Sip slowly. Stay awhile.
Community Spotlight: Jambridge
One of the things we love most about Ambridge is what can happen when people decide to build something together and Jambridge is a beautiful example of that spirit.
Jambridge brings local music, food, breweries, artists, businesses, and neighbors together in one place. It is created by volunteers, supported by local businesses, and brought to the community by the community.
Merchant is proud to be part of something that celebrates the creativity, resilience, and wonderfully scrappy heart of our town.

A Note From My Heart
The last several weeks, I have been tying my very best to keep it together throughout this staffing transition. Quite honestly and transparently it's exhausting me. My staff and my family can see it. Even though I have been here before, and I have learned to stay patient and optimistic; that pivots are a part of it... it doesn't make it suck any less. While I try my best to protect my peace and mental space while trying to grow this business and show up in a way that supports this community with excellence, some days are just rough. Parenting teenagers, navigating relationships, bartending, managing and operating a business in a season where I am being called to go deeper within myself and grow personally and professionally (and I am finding healing is around every corner) makes me want to escape, retreat and turn off. S**t, sometimes I want out completely. I'd be straight fibbing if I said, I love what I do everyday! While I refuse to stop putting my all into this business and this community, I will give myself permission to let the universe do its job. I will work towards staying grounded and understand that so many things are out of my control. I will breathe, I will rest and I will most certainly PLAY. Lastly, I will keep showing up to the best of my imperfect abilities. Many of you see me on the surface but very few people know me deeply - my story, my scars, my beautiful flaws. All of the parts that make my gritty whole!
Needless to say, you all know by now, staffing transitions affected our hours, our kitchen, and our ability to serve you with the consistency we want Merchant to be known for. As a small-business owner, it is hard when your vision and your current capacity don’t quite match. I know the changes were sometimes frustrating, and I never took your patience for granted. I am also so grateful for our current staff and team and everyone helping to keep these doors open.
But this season also reminded me why Merchant exists in the first place.
You continued walking through our doors. You ordered drinks when the kitchen was closed. You shared our posts, encouraged our team, asked how we were doing, and gave us room to find our footing again.
Now the kitchen is back, our team is rebuilding, and we are moving forward with a little more wisdom and a whole lot of gratitude.
Merchant has never been only about coffee or food. It is about having a place where people feel welcomed, known, and connected. Every time you choose Merchant, order through DoorDash, attend an event, bring a friend, or simply share a kind word, you help protect that place.
Thank you for staying with us through the imperfect parts.
We’re still here. We’re still growing. And we’re very glad you’re here with us.
With love and gratitude,
Kimberly + the Merchant Coffee Team
Coffee is the vehicle. Community is the destination.
We Would Love to Gather Your Thoughts
If Merchant has ever made your morning brighter, fed you something you loved, introduced you to a new friend, or simply given you a place where you felt at home, would you consider leaving us a Google review?
During a season of rebuilding, your reviews help more people discover Merchant and give new guests the confidence to walk through our doors for the first time. They also remind our small team that the care we put into this place is being felt on the other side of the counter.
It only takes a minute, costs nothing, and genuinely makes a difference for a small business like ours.
