This is a bittersweet post to share, but after a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time for me to take a step back from Han.made Cakes, at least for this season of life.
Han.made Cakes was never a full-time business, but it has been such a special little part of my life. I’ve loved getting to create cakes and treats for your birthdays, celebrations, holidays, and special moments. Every order, recommendation, share, and kind message has meant more to me than you know. 🥹🤍
Lately, I’ve found myself wanting to slow down and be more present with my family. My girls are growing way too quickly, and I don’t want to miss the little moments because I’m constantly trying to squeeze in another cake order.
So, for now, I’m cutting back significantly on custom orders and giving myself more freedom to say yes when the timing works for our family and no when it doesn’t.
But this is not goodbye!
I’ll still do occasional pop-up porch pickups when I have the time and inspiration, and I’ll continue to take on a limited number of custom cakes when my schedule allows. I’ll always share those opportunities here and my inbox is always open!
This isn’t me walking away from something I love. It’s simply me choosing to slow down, make more room for my family, and let Han.made Cakes be something I can enjoy without feeling like I have to constantly keep up.
Thank you for supporting my little bakery and allowing me to be part of so many of your celebrations. I’m incredibly grateful. 🤍
