We had breakfast at Rustic Café on Saturday. We were told that the café is no longer giving discounts to military or seniors. What a blow. Apparently the waits were incorrectly giving the discounts, sooo what the heck! Take the punishment out on us?. If they are doing something wrong, obviously the waits were not taught correctly. And whose fault is that!!!!! Do you realize at Corporate how many people eat there who are military retired and/or seniors????? I have talked to many who will forget this restaurant if this continues. The waits are always friendly, always ask us if we are military or seniors at the register. I might add that the folks at the restaurant work hard and often with not enough help in the front or in the kitchen. Just remember folks, one day you will be seniors and be looking for that friendly, inexpensive place to go to have a good meal and visit with your friends.
We are regulars here and love the wait staff especially Treasure and Isaiah! The food is great but it's summer and it's obvious the air conditioning is on the fritz. May have to find a different place to go this summer as I can't take the heat!
So I haven't been by in 2.5 months. I know I'm coming to town and get excited "Wooo! All In Burger and Onion Rings!!" and then I see this soul crushing notice.
