Three years ago, two brilliant and courageous women entrepreneurs turned a dream into reality 🎉🎉

After nearly a year of searching, they found the perfect home for Turkish Coffee Lady North Carolina in Apex. Then came months of permits, construction, unexpected challenges, and countless obstacles. Through it all, they never gave up.

Today, I couldn’t be prouder of Nuriye Taşkın and Elif Dilekoğlu as they prepare to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Turkish Coffee Lady NC at the end of this month.

Seeing their inspiring journey featured in reminds me why we began this mission in the first place. It reinforces my belief that cultural wellness bringing people together through authentic traditions, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences is needed now more than ever.

What started as a dream has grown into a vibrant gathering place where friendships are formed, cultures are celebrated, and Turkish hospitality continues to touch lives every single day.

As we look ahead, I am more excited than ever about the future. Together, we are building something far greater than a coffee brand, we are creating a national and global movement centered on connection, cultural heritage, wellness, and innovation.

Turkish Coffee in Hollywood 🇹🇷☕️🇺🇸🎬

As we recently celebrated Turkish Cuisine Week, we are fondly remembering a very special milestone from our 17-year old cultural journey!

On May 20, 2022, “Turkish Coffee Tales of Anatolia”, the documentary was screened at the Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles before an audience of approximately 150 guests. The evening brought together community leaders, diplomats, culture enthusiasts, and coffee lovers to explore the rich history, traditions, and stories behind one of Türkiye’s most treasured cultural heritages: Turkish coffee.

Through this unique documentary featuring 8 different Turkish cities, we aimed to share not only the centuries-old preparation methods and rituals, but also the diverse culinary traditions, hospitality, and cultural values that connect generations across Anatolia.

As we have been building bridges through gastrodiplomacy since 2009, we remain grateful for every opportunity to foster cross-cultural dialogue and share the flavors, stories, and traditions of Türkiye with the world.
