TABRA WINE: LE CLOS DES MÛRIERS

A Chardonnay for people who like Chardonnay, and also for people who think they don’t. 🥂 Fresh, rich and very easy to like, with lemon, white fruit, a little honey and a subtle floral side. It has enough body to hold its own next to food, but stays bright and fresh all the way through.

🔬 The 2023 harvest earned 96 points from James Suckling.

MEET MICHAEL GROSMAN

You should probably know who’s coming to TABRA…
He’s the man behind Les Enfants du Marché, a chefs-eat-here kind of place. Set inside Marché des Enfants Rouges, the city’s oldest covered food market, Les Enfants does things a little differently: serious produce, very good food, natural wine, an open kitchen and a counter instead of all the usual fine dining theatre.

And because the menu there changes with what’s good that day, we’re keeping the same spirit here: Michael is putting together a special menu for TABRA, built around what makes sense to cook, eat and open a bottle next to. This September, he’s bringing a little bit of that universe to TABRA, together with Călătorii și Farfurii for Bucharest Food Week.

A little note for those who haven’t been to TABRA yet: the burgundy, the velvet, the whole setting might suggest you need to dress for the occasion.

You really don’t! 🚔🚨Come fancy, come casual, come however you feel like. We like dressing up, but if we had to pick, casual wins.
