And that’s how this little coffee tambayan came to be. A cozy space for good coffee, catch-ups, work days, or simply slowing down for a while. ☕️🤎

Back in 2022, we asked Marivic Dubria: “Ate… weird request, What happens if we put brown sugar in the fermentation tank?” 🤔

Turns out, giving the microbes a little extra fuel created a cup with more sweetness, fruit, and complexity. The first lot sold out in a day. Fast forward to our visit to her farm in Mt. Apo ⛰, we saw firsthand the care behind every harvest, and we knew we had to bring it back.

🇵🇭 This Philippine origin is an Anaerobic Natural, Brown Sugar Fermentation Catimor from Balutakay, Mt. Apo. In the cup you’ll find:
🍍 Ripe Tropical Fruit
🍫 Cacao nibs through the middle
🤎 A brown sugar finish that lingers in the best way.

We only roasted a LIMITED amount this time around, so if you’ve been waiting for this one… ito na yung sign mo. Grab a bag at any Candid branch before it says goodbye ulit. ☕️

THIS WEEK, WE'RE BREWING: Kenya — Nyeri Hill Factory AA Top

While we don't usually go for Kenya beans, we thought this one was a little special

This brew manages to balance variations of sweet and acidic, and the roasting really manages to bring out the natural sugars

Plenty sweet with a little kick to it, it's perfect for your afternoon palpitations 🙈

👅 We're tasting: raisins | green apple | dried fruit | plum

💬 We suggest: filter brew | more or less a week post-roast (peak window)

In SUPER DUPER limited quantities. Like… we literally had to convince Pat, our head roaster, to let us bag a few more para mas marami pang makatikim. Na-convince naman namin siya. 😌💪🏻

Starburst is sooo different from our usual blends. It’s way fruitier, but not bright or acidic, ha. More like your favorite candy. Think sweet strawberry, creamy yogurt, and a little lemonade candy moment all in one cup. 🍓🍋✨

Promise, ang sarap niya as a morning latte or even an americano because the flavor notes really shine through. As in, first sip pa lang, gets mo na agad why we’re obsessed. 🤭
