🌟 Monday’s Meet the Team – Cheyenne 🌟

At just 20 years old, Cheyenne works in the kitchen like a seasoned veteran (along with all the team)

Always bubbly, full of energy and up for a laugh, she brings a positive vibe to every shift while keeping the kitchen humming along behind the scenes. She’s one of those people who quietly gets the job done, and does it exceptionally well. Around here, we like to think of her as The Little Sprig’s secret weapon.

When she’s not at The Little Sprig, you’ll usually find her around horses, a passion she’s had for years. And just because she clearly wasn’t busy enough already, she’s also studying towards a Fine Arts degree.

Thanks for everything you do, Cheyenne. We’re lucky to have you on the team! 👏🍕💚

Next up… Grace

Every good team has a quiet achiever, and at The Little Sprig that is definitely Grace.

She might not always be the loudest person in the room but behind the scenes she is the one keeping the kitchen organised and under control, especially during those crazy Friday nights.

The truth is Grace probably doesn’t get the praise she deserves. She just turns up, works hard, keeps everyone on track and is a massive part of what makes The Little Sprig tick.

Outside of work, Grace loves keeping active and recently smashed the boss at the Hanmer 10km 🏃‍♀️😂

She is also heading away to Christchurch for a netball tournament soon, and we currently have a raffle running on the bar to help support her trip. If you’re popping in, grab a ticket and help us get behind one of our own.

Thanks for everything you do Grace. We are lucky to have you as part of the Sprig family 💚

Well… the first session is officially complete and we’re pleased to confirm everyone made it home safely 😂

Listening skills: Room for improvement
Ability to sit quietly: Poor
Hydration levels: Excellent 🍻
Likelihood of returning next Saturday: Very high

A huge thanks to everyone who came along and had a laugh with us. This was exactly what it was meant to be, a bit of fun and another excuse to bring people together.

For those that follow this page, most of you will already know this legend… but for those that don’t, meet Ian (Burs) 🍻

Burs has been a huge supporter of The Little Sprig and our local community from day one, and today he was back again dropping off a load of firewood he kindly donated as part of our quiz night fundraiser for

And in true Burs fashion, not only was there more firewood than he originally offered, he also took the time to deliver it himself.

It’s little things like this that remind us how lucky we are to be part of such an awesome community. People giving their time, supporting local causes, and helping out without expecting anything in return.

The Little Sprig Community Wall 🍻

A little corner of the Sprig that we’re pretty proud of.

Our Community Wall celebrates some of the amazing groups, clubs, teams, schools and organisations we’ve been lucky enough to support, sponsor or help fundraise for over the years.

This is only a small snapshot of the many awesome people and groups we’ve worked alongside, with plenty more stories and memories beyond what’s on the wall.

From quiz nights to local sponsorships and everything in between, it’s always a privilege to play a small part in our community.

The best bit is there’s still plenty of room left, and we can’t wait to keep adding to it.
