Annual Spring Trial.
Was a really good day enjoyed by all. Another Awesome effort by Ozy doing a great job with a lot of fun.
We had 21 people attend with 11 cars, a really good turn out.
It was a Beautiful Sunny day. We all met at Ozys car museum.
Ozy made some really nice home baking but had it commercially packaged.

After half an hour of looking at the cars, and filling our bellies.
Ozy handed out the Treasure hunt sheets, writing down the drivers name and passengers name. Even though one team failed by not putting their name on the sheet ha ha.
The quiz started off with a few Questions about the cars in the shed, then they left in their cars on the course set out by Ozy.
1st out the shed was Dave and KIm followed by Boyd and Janice.
Headed up Port View Crescent around a circuit spotswood and down Beach Road enjoying the scenery of Back Beach.
Down past Molten metals and onto the Port. This Quiz is not only answering questions but also interactive.
The next point of interest was Chaddy's Charters. They had to read the question properly: Driver photo in the pirate hole, Passenger photo in the stocks. That was a lot of fun. Dave put Kim in the stocks and wouldn't let her out. Few little arguments when it was supposed to be fun, Pirate photos were easy, few of the ladies didn't like the stocks, they were only in there for 2 mins, years ago they were in there for days.
Then we Drove to the breakwater fishing spots. Had to read the BIG sign Zombie Walk. The drivers had to get out of the car and do their best Zombie walk dance. That was so funny. Some really good videos. Good one by Bruce Grey.
Round the port then The salty Dogs VIP Gaming lounge.
Then to Ozys car yard where they laughed about Ozys motto Honest Reliable Affordable.
Out the gate few more Icons around the town, Then to the Famous Iowna Dairy to count the scoops on top. Everyone got 3 scoops except for Kim only saw 2. And it wasn't Daves fault either
Then pics of Car and Driver in front of the Len Lye Centre. Some really good shots as well of the cars in the mirrors.
Off to the Zoo which was also funny. Take your best monkey video and make the sound. Everyone's videos of themselves as monkeys was hilarious. But the best was Dave Ferens he was swinging from a tree.
Everyone started to Arrive at The GCR where the weather was lovely. it was very nice, We all sat around and watched each other's videos and laughed while enjoying cold beers and wines. Bruce and Sandy were the last ones in. Slow and Steady very close.
Nice and Easy Drive questions are fun and Easy. Stuart and Jenny were the winners of the !st Quiz. Well Done So we needed to find a winner.
That's when Ozy bought out the 2nd Part Quiz.
Name all the Cars from the Tv shows and movies.
Then the final challenge: Very Close between Bruce and Bruce.
Christine and Bruce Wallas were stars and got 100% for the Tv car Quiz moved them from 4th to outright winners. Well Done. 2nd was close by one point Well Done Sandy and Bruce.
We all enjoyed a really nice meal all together subsidised by the club of $15. While we continued to laugh and share stories of the fun day.
Hope everyone had a good time. And hope everyone wasn't stiff the next day from all the Zombie Dancing. Funniest thing was when I picked up kIm from work that night. There were these 4 Aussies over from Aussie and Kim was talking to them about me in the Jaguar club. And they said the funniest thing that down by the water today they saw all these older guys dancing very weirdly in front of old Jags. Priceless.
