Check this out.....Our new Gourmet Banana Split!

A dessert worth saving room for......

We've had a Banana Split on our menu for a while now and its always been a hit - but our chef wanted to play with it a bit,

So we've made our own meringue nest, inside that nest we've added chocolate icecream, vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream, hazelnut praline, dark chocolate shards, bananas of course and given you FOUR sauces to choose from - chocolate, berry, whiskey and honey butterscotch or passionfruit

I 100% recommend the butterscotch! 😍

We tried one last night and can confirm its to die for - you won't find anything like it anywhere else, it looks huge and you can share it - but you won't want to!

This week we say farewell to our Susie 😢

Susie has been a highly valued member of the Black Rabbit team for over 4 years now.

That smiling friendly face who always greets you like a long lost pal, remembering your name, your stories, the usual (and unusual) orders and getting it out to you with ease and speed.
I remember years ago after being served by you when I worked elsewhere - I asked 'The powers that be' if I could steal you to work with me only to be told "NO WAY!"

Susie you are an absolute legend and you have always gone above and beyond the call of duty, especially with your most recent success of going from a front of house energizer bunny to stepping up and running a kitchen solo - no easy feat, yet you smashed it! ❤️

We appreciate everything you have done and continue to do more than you know.

We all wish you the very best in your new and exciting role, you'll smash that too! They are very lucky to be getting such a hard working dedicated person. (Sob!!!)

Susies last day with us is this Friday - make sure you stop by between now then to show her some love. 🫶

Tomorrow we welcome back a familiar face to start transitioning in before taking over the reigns on Monday.....stay tuned 😁

Friday is of course our fish & chip special, we also have this beauty on our specials menu, while stocks last....

Chicken supreme with mushroom risotto - featuring exotic mushrooms and tarragon butter!

Side note - last night there was a major issue with our website, it looked like complete gibberish - our IT guy spent a few hours putting it all back to how it should be, so its up and running again for your online bookings and online orders.

We have shiny new lights!!!

The thought behind it is to indicate that we are infact open......if the lights are on come on in, if the lights are off - come back tomorrow! 💡

Last night we hosted a private function for a local club - while we were there we had several phone calls asking if we were open, can I book a table, can I order takeaways, so now we are seriously considering opening Wednesday evenings as well, we just need to figure out staff, our staff all work very hard as it is BUT - watch this space.....

By the way - yes we are open tonight! No set 'Thursday specials' yet, but we do have some amazing dishes for you to try!

Alright- Matt has decided that this week will be our final roast buffet for the season, hes wanting to move forward with new specials and the buffet preparation does take up alot of his time.

So last Buffet this Thursday then onto other delicious creations from our talented Matt.
