Food is the one language we all speak. 🤍

No translation. No barriers. Just a dish, a story, and the quiet understanding that we are more alike than we are different , also maybe ,that is why strangers become family at the dinner table?

You can know someone in a single bite ,the aroma of their kitchen, the spice of where they come from, the textures their hands have shaped a thousand times before. A whole life, served on one plate.

This is why we do what we do at Nanam. Translating our language through the love of food and hospitality , one plate, one table, one guest at a time. 🙏

Taho. Traditionally a warm street snack of soft silken tofu, sago, and brown sugar syrup, taho is one of the simplest things a Filipino grows up eating. In this version, the tofu becomes soy panna cotta, set over a warm mango and sago compote and finished with cold house mango ice cream. The dish is built on that contrast of warm and cold, carried by an aromatic pandan syrup and the fragrance of ripe mango running through both. AucklandEats PusongPinoy

Escabeche Duck. Traditionally made with fish, Spanish escabeche is savoury and sour, but the Filipino adaptation brings a sweet and sour profile to the dish. In this version, the spiced carrot sauce serves as the vehicle for that sweet and sour, paired with koji-aged duck and crispy duck leg confit.
