• 2–3 days a week including one weekend day
• Happy to help with general cafe work, not just making coffee

If you know someone who might be a good fit, please share this with them.

My dad passed away yesterday. He was quite a character, and I feel lucky I was able to see him before he passed and share a special moment with him.

I’m truly grateful to the Coffee Pen team, our former staff, and the wonderful hospital staff for making it possible for me to spend that special time with him. I also want to say thank you to my dad. Coffee Pen wouldn’t be here without him.

We’ll be closed from the morning of Jan 27 through Feb 6, and we’ll reopen on Feb 7.
Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support.

This Saturday, 13th September, we’ll be joining March the Bridge ✊
To our lovely Saturday regulars and everyone who sees this post, we’d love for you to walk with us if you can.

Weekends are usually our busiest mornings, and with the current economy, it’s hard to close a whole day… so this Saturday, Coffee Pen will open a little later, from 11:30am through to 3:30pm.

We’d love to see you at the March, and at Coffee Pen later on ❤️

Available from today on our website — link in bio.

This yuzu citrus-and-chilli condiment is part of the Japanese culinary tradition, now crafted in Aotearoa with Gisborne yuzu and Wicked Hots chillies.

We’ve created three unique varieties, each bringing a zesty punch to everyday dishes from grilled meats and vegetables to fresh seafood and toasties. Even a drop goes a long way.

Jalapeño – Bright, zesty and versatile. Medium heat with a clean jalapeño finish and subtle fruity notes.
Bird’s Eye – Clear, sharp heat with a focused spice for those who like it a little bolder.
Habanero – Our hottest yet. Bold, punchy heat with the rich, savoury depth only habanero can bring.

Thank you to everyone who came by and made the day so special.
It was a warm, sunny market filled with great people, energy, and atmosphere.
We feel really lucky to have met so many through this event.

After chatting with all the makers and artists who were part of Little Crossroads, we’ve donated $575 each to and — $1,151 in total.

Thanks to all our friends who supported us. We truly couldn’t have done this without you.

special thanks
