Honey crunch, floral, orange.

Enrique created this variety himself by grafting Colombia rootstock with Pink Gesha to produce something that shouldn't work on paper but absolutely does in the cup. Heavy body. Light florals.

Yellow Maragogype
Honeydew, nectarine, cherry.

Enrique's take on one of coffee's most distinctive varieties.
This is our first time having a Maragogype in our line-up, usually we avoid them because we've never been impressed by them. Although this one from Enrique has become quite popular with the guys in the roastery.

Battle of the Brewers lands at .dublin on 28.05.26 — and we’ve put together a judging panel that means business.

Arvind Khedun () — owner of , one of the most respected specialty cafés in the country and a multi award-winning barista.

Sean Condron () — freelance barista with a wealth of experience behind the bar of some of Ireland’s finest specialty coffee shops.

Maja Rozwadowska (.rozwadowska) — official SCA & WCC judge and Quality Control Consultant at .republic.

Most people have never heard of Mejorado. And the ones who have, probably knew it by the wrong name.
Originally called Typica Mejorado “Typica Improved” it spent years carrying an identity that wasn’t its own.

Genetic testing eventually revealed the truth: it’s a hybrid of Bourbon and Ethiopian Heirloom, a variety that had always been more than it appeared.

Rare, low-yielding, and increasingly one to watch on the competition circuit.
