The Dolphin started life when Leonidas Alexakis opened the first ‘Kafeneon’ in Roda over 70 years ago as a traditional meeting place for local people,

The Dolphin was, and still is, very much a Alexakis family business and
having been turned into a fish restaurant back in the 60’s, the fish is still by far the most popular dish

To get the very freshest fish, Nikos will travel to Corfu town to buy what is the best fish on the day and bring it straight back for the day’s customers. Apart from the various well-known fish dishes on the menu, naturally, there are all the Greek & Corfiot favourites too – dishes like pastitsio, sofrito, stifado, kokkinisto, kleftiko, lemonato, soutsoukakia, spetsofai and so much more are prepared using the freshest ingredients by Nikki and Stella.
