Cat's back. Olly's cooking. The wine is sorted.

On Thursday 17th September, Cat Brandwood is back at Forte for another intimate evening of brilliant food & expertly paired wines.

Olly has put together a delicious menu featuring glazed pork belly, slow-cooked beef short rib, crispy oyster mushrooms and a rather yummy rum baba to finish.

Cat knows Olly's cooking pretty well by now, which means we're always excited to see what she chooses to pour alongside it.

Great good. Excellent wine. Lovely people around a table. A good reason to gather.

New menu. New favourites. ✨

The sweetcorn fritters are BACK! 🙌 (I’ve genuinely missed them.) Alongside them are some incredible new sandwiches, fresh salads and my new personal favourite… the Manakeesh. 🤤

And because I’m so excited about the new menu…

If you haven’t seen it yet, Off Campus appears to have taken over everyone’s socials recently.

And yes… initially we watched it for the plot 👀

But genuinely, one of the things I’ve loved most about it is how much connection happens around a table.

The scenes at Malone’s. The late-night snacks. The debriefs after difficult days. The friendships forming over food and drinks.

I can neither confirm nor deny that Garrett and Hannah definitely came to Forte with their friends…

But honestly, it’s a reminder that hospitality has always been about more than just food.

It’s about gathering in real life.

And at Forte, that’s what we want to be for you too.

We’re looking after the team and have made the decision to close Wednesday & Thursday.

With the Met Office red warning and temperatures climbing, it feels like the sensible call for everyone’s wellbeing.

Stay safe, stay cool, and we’ll see you when the kitchen stops feeling like the surface of the sun.

We’re making some changes to the Forte menu… 👀

So before a few favourites disappear into the Forte archives, we want to know:

Which dish deserves a comeback?
And are there any old favourites we’ve missed?

From Scotch Eggs and Sweetcorn Fritters to Sandwiches, Pancakes and the Forte Burger… some dishes have definitely built their own little fan clubs over the years.
