Christmas decorations aren’t out quite yet, but many have been very organised this year & the diary is already filling up. Please call us to discuss if you have any specific / special requirements.

Christmas Day itself we only have 2x tables left (this isn’t the Christmas Day menu).

Specials for today:
• Whitebait with a tarragon & lemon mayo
• “Toad in the hole”, Cumberland ring sausage, mashed potato & onion gravy, housed in an oversized Yorkshire pudding
• Whole mackerel with ginger, garlic, coriander & chilli butter, served with new potatoes & tenderstem broccoli
• North African spiced duck leg, baby courgettes, new potatoes, served with a rich w**e jus

All alongside our normal menu (which will be updated in October) & for lunchtime we also have our lite bite lunch menu & sandwich menu to choose from

The fantastic Wedmore Real Ale Festival is 25 years old this weekend. Happy “Ju-Beer-Lee”!

If you need to line your stomach or soak up some of that b**r we’ve got you covered. Our restaurant & takeaway service is from 5:30pm on Friday / restaurant 12-9pm Saturday & 12-4pm for Sunday lunch service…. Sometimes a Sunday roast is the best cure 🍺

This is Justin’s last weekend with us before he heads down under to Australia.
He has been an exciting & talented addition to our kitchen & George family for the last 18+ months.
We will miss you Justin, but look forward to hearing all the stories & about how well you are doing down there doing what you do best, creating excellent food!

Justin will be working over the weekend including for our Friday Takeaway service from 5:30pm today.
He’s also been creating one of his lovely signature desserts which will be available tonight.

We are British after all & what did we expect to happen for a bank holiday 😎⛈️

The bouncy castle has a roof & we can do the bbq under cover whilst you can eat & take part in the other activities indoors… Or the sun may even come out 🤞🏼
