On a little stroll around Roker tonight, I wandered over to Slice hoping to grab some pizza, but they’d already closed.

Then who I think was the manager, Davey, came outside with some free pizza.

Then someone told him who I was, and he came back over just to give me a cuddle.

Kindness doesn’t always have to be something big. Sometimes it’s a slice of pizza, a few kind words, and a cuddle at exactly the right moment.

Thank you, Davey. You probably don’t realise how much your kindness meant tonight. You made starving woman very happy ❤️🍕
