Opening in 2024, Sheepfolds Stables is Sunderland’s new hotly anticipated food, drinks and leisure venue. The transformation is being led by Sunderland and Ulverston based Architects and Engineers, Building Design Northern. Located in the Grade II listed stables, Sheepfolds will be home to the finest independent food and drinks vendors, retailers and lifestyle businesses. Perched on the river’s ed

ge in the shadow of the Stadium of Light, Sheepfolds will form part of Riverside Sunderland, one of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration projects. Sheepfolds will play host to music and performance on a large outdoor stage, and include a large open-air yard where a range of pop-up events, markets and daytime activity will take place.

Happy Mackem Day! ❤️🤍

Sunderland Music City are hosting their National Mackem Day event at Sheepfolds Stables from 5pm today, and we’re expecting it to be a busy one!

Please note, the main courtyard next to the stage will be closed to ticket holders only for the event from 4pm.

However, all of our operators will be open as normal, so you can still come along and enjoy everything Sheepfolds has to offer.
