Still trying to get that catch-up in the diary? In a beautiful spot on the edge of our walled garden, our cottage sleeps up to eight, with four en-suite double bedrooms and plenty of communal living space.

Expect a generous open-plan lounge and diner, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast room and sunroom, offering plenty of options for gathering together. In addition to a downstairs WC, two of the en-suite bathrooms include freestanding baths, while the others offer freestanding showers and outdoor tubs.

Secluded yet close to the centre of the action, the cottage has its own garden and driveway, but is just moments from our two top restaurants. All the best bits of a holiday cottage, without the designated driver or tidying up.

Every house needs a dedicated den of fun. Enter Fred's, our games room and wh**ky snug, complete with vinyl, retro games and its own cocktail menu.

Named in honour of Sir Frederick Peel, who—history fans—built the manor on his father's estate in 1855, the space is exactly where you want to be, post-feast, when a final drink and a dose of silliness call before bed.

Open to manor house residents and private dining guests, it's yours to play DJ for the night with , or choose from wildly addictive shuffleboard, old-school bar billiards, or a good old-fashioned game of chess by the fire, while you sup on a wee dram or cocktail.

Workshop watch: Pasta at Home

Spend a few hours at our walled garden cookery school, learning to make pasta from scratch. We’ll mix and knead fresh egg pasta dough, then leave it to rest before the ever-so-satisfying shaping process. Guided by what’s in season and growing in the garden, we’ll flavour a ricotta-based filling, ready to form into ravioli and maybe even laminate some flowers into the dough for the prettiest of pastas you're likely to meet.

We'll cook our pasta and enjoy it around the table together, for lunch or dinner, depending on whether you choose a morning or evening class.

A huge congratulations to the team at , awarded their third AA Rosette at the awards last night.

The jump from two to three rosettes is a significant one, marking Kynd out among the "serious dining destinations – places you travel for, book ahead for, and remember long after the meal ends." We're so proud of the soulful, delicious experience the team has built in just a few short years, and we're already excited for what's next.

Workshop Watch: Willow Weaving with Nature Makers

Reconnect with the outdoors and make something beautiful this Autumn. Nature Makers joins us for a willow weaving workshop—a craft that feels ancient, calming and deeply grounding.

Over two hours, you'll weave a rustic willow bird feeder: a beautiful, functional piece, ready just in time for the scarcer months, when the bird population needs it most. Learn simple weaving techniques, shape your feeder using English willow, and create a cosy spot to encourage even more garden residents. A mindful, tactile experience, ideal for slowing down.
