🍻 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT YOUR LOCAL PUB… 🍻
Running a pub in the UK in 2026 is certainly an experience.
Between rising energy bills, food costs going through the roof, b**r prices creeping up, wages increasing and enough paperwork to fill the bloody b**r garden… sometimes it feels like we need to sell a kidney just to keep the lights on.
And behind the bar, it’s not just pulling pints. It’s long hours, late nights, early mornings, fixing things that have decided to pack in, juggling a million jobs at once and trying to make sure everyone has a good time while quietly questioning your life choices.
We don’t do it for the money, because it certainly isn’t a lucrative industry these days. We do it because we love it. We love our little pub, our locals, the banter, the laughs, the live music, the match-day atmosphere and being part of this community ❤️
BUT… your local pub needs you just as much as you need it.
So next time you’re deciding where to spend your evening, remember that popping in for a pint, grabbing some food, bringing your mates along, coming down for the footy or supporting a live music night genuinely makes a difference.
You don’t have to spend a fortune. Just coming through the door, having a drink, ordering a meal, sharing a post, or spreading the word helps more than you might realise.
Because once your local pub is gone, it’s not always coming back. And nobody wants to be reminiscing about the good old days while staring at another bloody v**e shop 😂
