Well then… this is one we’re really not ready for. 💛
After more than 8 years with us, it’s time to say a proper Blue Bell farewell to our Jake.
He first joined us over at The Wheatsheaf more than 8 years ago, before finding his way to The Blue Bell, and before long, he became one of the friendliest faces in the place.
Jake has been the one quietly keeping things ticking, looking after the pub, the team, and our lovely locals. If something needed sorting, Jake was usually the one on it, dealing with whatever came his way and, as always, absolutely smashing it.
Always happy to help, always with a smile, and always with that proper pub warmth that makes The Blue Bell what it is.
We’re honestly gutted to lose him, but we’re also incredibly proud as he heads off to start his career in agriculture. Knowing Jake, he’ll do brilliantly - though we’re not sure the fields know what’s coming. 🌾
He’s in this week, so if you’re passing, pop in, raise a glass, wish him luck, and help us send him off properly. 🍻
Good luck, Jake. Thank you for everything - you’ll always be part of The Blue Bell family! 🔔💙
