The lovely Nils Solberg returns. This time with Charlotte Glasson.

Charlotte is a multi-instrumentalist who has played with some of the greats, from Nick Cave and Oasis to The Divine Comedy and Camille O-Sullivan.

Nils Solberg is a guitarist and vocalist who has played with the likes of Bryan Ferry, Nigel Kennedy and Ralph McTell.

We can’t wait for you to hear these virtuoso players do their thing in the Dragon Bar.

The event is free and there is no reserved seating, so arrive early to bag a spot!

For the latest in our Notes on Design series, we sat down with Paddy O’Donnell, Interior Decoration Consultant and Global Brand Ambassador for @ Farrow & Ball, to talk colour, character and the details that bring a room to life.

Ready for Rye Fawkes?

The historic procession of local bonfire societies actually predates Guy Fawkes’s attempt to blow up parliament.

Instead of burning a Guy, we burn a boat! 🔥⛵

This is in reference to how the Rye townsfolk preferred to set fire to their own ships than have them captured by their French invaders.

The Bonfire pageant comes past The George culminating in a huge bonfire on the Marsh and a spectacular Fireworks display.

It’s one of the best nights of the year, so do join us on Saturday 14 November.
